Olanrewaju Olajumoke Akinla is an England-based Nigerian poet, writer and storyteller whose work examines social injustice, identity, and personal perspective. Her chapbook Silence: Tremors Beneath the Surface – Volume One explores themes of gendered violence, resilience and cultural belonging, while her forthcoming novella interrogates migration, loss and personal transformation.
A graduate in International Law & Diplomacy and Creative Writing, with study in both Nigeria and England, Olanrewaju draws on cross-cultural insight to combine vivid imagery, lyrical prose and layered characterisation. She renders intimate moments in ways that illuminate public truths.
She has presented work in community and literary settings and is committed to amplifying diverse voices through craft and conversation. Currently developing her narrative voice across longer forms, Olanrewaju balances creative ambition with strategic clarity—focused on how history and social context shape identity and on making complex subjects editorially unforgettable.
